KöD Posthallen

Lovely setting in the old Posthallen in the centre of Oslo. The staff were friendly, accommodating and entertained my English need to complain about the 30 degree heat outside. Extremely knowledgeable staff, with a certain confidence that everyone who walks through the door will leave satisfied. Prime (very prime) cut of steak, worth every penny. We were a group of seven, so we tried all the sides, which were all excellent. Desserts looked lovely, but I had the Wagyu Whiskey Sour, a drink I'm going to try to recreate at home. Try the Australian strip loin, or if you're feeling extravagant, the Chateaubriand tenderloin. We're off again.

Good atmosphere. High quality ingredients and very good Signature Menu and Wine Package. Carpaccio for starters is recommended (fantastic). Skilled, friendly and cheerful waiters made the experience very good. Recommended for anyone who likes good ingredients. A place you will definitely visit again.
